"The Blood Of Thine Enemies" is the debut solo recording from J. Bannon (Converge, Wear Your Wounds, Supermachiner) released in 2008. "The Blood..." is a minimalist six minute emotional dirge. Haunting in it's simplicity, this release foreshadows the anticipated "Wear Your Wounds" album, due out on Deathwish soon.
Meant to be a stand alone piece, "The Blood..." was originally available as a one sided 7"EP (w/ an etched B-side). The physical version is now sold out.

a perfect showcase for extreme technical mastery, but unlike almost every other band at this level, the complexity and skill is not the point at all, everything is so focused on expression, emotion, energy... Converge is untouchable Giles
